West coast adventure

Many people believe California is one of the best places in the country for food, restaurants, and year round produce. My friend Katie Clark and I will be traveling to San Fransisco early Wednesday morning to explore the world of west coast cooking. Katie Clark, an editor at the Times Herald, will be helping me document all of our experiences. We will be taking vidoes at places we visit and posting them on this blog. We will be interviewing local residents about what the good eats are in the neighborhoods. Our focus will be produce and how it compares to the northeast, even in peak harvest seasons. Also we want to explore street foods, smaller restaurants similar to the StoneRose.  Stay Tuned!
